The sky is blue and twenty-four inches of fresh dry powder blanketed the mountain during the night, and you say to yourself 'thanks Mother Nature' for this incredible Utah weather! Now it's time for some serious fun as you push yourself down the slope. Now imagine gliding down a mountain in waist-deep, fluffy, dry powder, that's Skiing in Park City Utah! "Absolutely Stunning, isn't it about time you Ski Utah?" ![]() The Utah Olympic Park in Park City Utah was built in 2002 for the Utah Olympic Games. Now you can take a tour, watch Olympic athletes train and compete, and/or be thrilled on bobsled, zipline and alpine-slide rides year-round. Winter Bobsled Rides... On the winter track, you'll experience 5G's and speeds up to 80mph as you drop the equivalent of 40 stories in under 1 minute. You start at the actual bobsled start used during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and ride the full track (just under a mile) from start to finish. Park City Mountain Resort With over 3,300 acres of the Greatest Snow on Earth, Park City's nine bowls and 108 trails will thrill you. The one word that best describes Park City Mountain Resort's terrain is variety. As Utah's largest ski area, both in terms of skiable acreage and lift capacity, Park City's 100 trails and 750 acres of open bowl skiing offer terrain to please every ability level and taste. Discounted lift tickets cost $74. The Canyons Last season, The Canyons Resort received over 400 inches of The Greatest Snow On Earth. Located in Park City, The Canyons is Utah's largest single ski and snowboard resort and one of the five largest in the U.S.A. Adult lift tickets are $96 for the 2011/12 ski season. Discounted lift tickets cost $74. Deer Valley - Voted #1 in North America 4 Years in a Row! Many fans of Utah skiing would never consider skiing anywhere other than at Deer Valley. They cite its impressive 3,000 foot vertical drop, its 1,750 skiable acres and, perhaps most importantly, its reputation for high quality customer service and exceptional restaurants and accommodations. There is, however, a price to be paid for all this impressive luxury. Deer Valley may well be one of the most expensive resorts in the world. Adult lift tickets for the 2011/12 ski season are high at $96 per day. Discounted lift tickets cost $79. But Deer Valley also restricts the number of skiers allowed on its slopes on a given day -- a remarkable and admirable innovation that may well make the steep price worthwhile. If only other pricey - and overcrowded -- Rocky Mountain resorts would follow suit. Chosen as the site of the combined slalom, slalom, mogul and aerial events for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, Deer Valley is currently expanding its facilities and constructing venues for the various events. Since 1998, Deer Valley has invested nearly $25 million in improvements, including construction of new runs, installation of a new gondola, the addition of a new high-speed quad lift and the opening of eight new, extremely challenging chutes. As with Alta, snowboarders are not welcome at Deer Valley. Gourmet diners and those with a taste for luxurious shops and accommodations -- and bearing fat wallets - are quite welcome, however. Deer Valley is one of the few resorts anywhere with a staff so focused on service that attendants actually offer to help you unload your gear before parking. ![]() Welcome!
